Return & Refund Policy

Prime Truffle

At Prime Truffle, we take pride in the quality of our specialty food products. Due to the perishable nature of many of our items, our return policy differs from traditional retail stores. Please read this policy carefully before placing your order.

1. Perishable Items (Fresh Truffles & Refrigerated Products)

Due to food safety regulations and the perishable nature of fresh truffles and refrigerated items:

  • All sales of perishable products are final.

  • We do not accept returns on fresh truffles or temperature-sensitive items.

  • We do not issue refunds for spoilage caused by:

    • Incorrect shipping information provided by the customer

    • Carrier delays outside of our control

    • Failure to promptly retrieve a delivered package

    • Improper storage after delivery

Damaged or Incorrect Perishable Orders

If your perishable item arrives:

  • Damaged

  • Incorrect

  • Or in unsatisfactory condition upon arrival

You must contact us within 24 hours of delivery at:

Please include:

  • Your order number

  • Photos of the product and packaging

  • A description of the issue

We may, at our discretion, offer a replacement or store credit.

2. Non-Perishable Items (Shelf-Stable Products)

We accept returns of unopened, unused non-perishable items within 3 days of delivery.

To qualify for a return:

  • The item must be unopened and in original packaging

  • The item must not show signs of use or tampering

  • Proof of purchase is required

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error.

3. Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect your returned item (if eligible), we will notify you of approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved:

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method

  • Please allow 5–10 business days for processing

  • Shipping charges are non-refundable

4. Order Cancellations

Orders may only be canceled if they have not yet shipped.

Because fresh products are often packed and prepared quickly, cancellation requests must be submitted immediately after placing your order.

We cannot guarantee cancellation once processing has begun.

5. Incorrect Shipping Information

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.

Prime Truffle is not responsible for:

  • Orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided by the customer

  • Packages returned due to incorrect or incomplete addresses

Reshipping fees may apply.

6. Lost or Stolen Packages

Once a package is marked as delivered by the carrier, Prime Truffle is not responsible for lost or stolen packages.

If you believe your package was stolen, please contact the shipping carrier directly.
